Sad News

Went in for our first OB visit today and twin B died about 5days ago they assume since it was measuring 5days behind twin A when they did my u/s today. I'm ok as you can be. I've had a misscarriage before and it's much easier for me to grieve a loss when I don't still need to be happy I'm pregnant. All surreal I suppose

Acid reflux is back with a vengeance! I had it from 30 weeks until delivery and I can't take my miracle drug pepcid until after 14 weeks it's going to be a long 9 weeks my friends!

New York Super Fudge Chunk

However, me pregnant makes chocolate chunks and other chocolate/sweet things taste like dirt :( ever starbucks! I just tried to eat the rest of my pint and it made me feel worse than I did I hate that. Seriously go get some at the grocery store you'll love me forever if you don't already.

I have a pink IPOD nano bought after not having mine someone stole for like a yr. So irritated the only girlie color was pink..... way to piss me off by making a new purple one apple! Seems so silly but I'm really not a pink girl....

All the good thoughts may just have helped. we are officially knocked up again! I showed quickly with T but right now I look about 12-16 weeks in with him and I'm only 4weeks along. T was over 8lbs.... they say they just get bigger. My hcg was nice and high and my progesterone is sky high should be smooth sailing.

Tornado T

He will not leave things alone! I put my lap top on the shelf behind the coffee table since he kept doing things to it (it was talking to me last week). He climbed over the table gets it and is walking off with it! I of course say no as I'm walking over and he puts it on the table like he didn't do anything! I take it and put it higher.... he falls on the floor screaming like I took something of his away.

Go-gurt or crack?

I was dying last weekend so ry was in charge........ 

T was napping so he told R to play in her room while he showered. Usually this goes as planned. Everything seemed fine when he got out. Later he went to dad's night so I made easy cheese quesadillas and grapes and corn for dinner since our personal chef was gone. About 15 minutes into dinner I find 8 (yes 8!)go gurt edges cut off on my floor under a kitchen towel and in the drawer by my kitchenaid kitchen shears. (for some reason the picture is missing 1)

My first thought is who the hell would make such a mess?! I check the fridge to make sure indeed that many go-gurts are missing. My next concern is that my 5 year old used these monster scissors since I know my husband would never dole out 8 things of such sugary junk to one child. 

This is the conversation that follows....

Me: R did you get yourself go-gurt today?

R: yes

Me: How many?

R: only just one for breakfast

Me: only 1? (give the mom look)

R: well actually alot

Me: try 8......

I then explain that even if yogurt is good and healthy one person can not eat 8 of them. It's not healthy to eat too much of anything etc etc

I bathe and tuck the kids in and commence to being a slug on our couch till bed time. About 9pm a door opens with the declaration, and my worst fear, "Mommy I puked!" I put her in the shower and called Ry home cause lets face it people as great of a mom as I'd like to think I am I don't do puke! 

About 4 more times to get all the food out of her belly, and she slept the rest of the night. Bounced off the walls the entire next day. All I could think was GREAT now I have even more wash to do! R did say she is "never going to do that again!" ......... I seem to remember someone who just 2 yrs ago did the same thing with M&Ms

Hair Cuts

Trevor had gone 6 weeks with out his hair cut. It grows as fast and thick as Ryan's does, so he was more than over due. Ari has been asking for an unbelievably short style like a girl in class which is not my taste for my girl. I did let he cut it so it just hits the top of her shoulders. Here are some crappy PDA pics of it all chopped off, and T man styled up by the place. 

Monkey Boy

Well he finally just went for it and climbed out of the crib! (he's done it before when I left blankets by it on the floor) I think he was afraid of the height until now. About 30mins into nap time his lil heiny came running out into the living room and I put him back and he got right out etc every 60 seconds at most the entire 2 hours left of nap time. So I bought a crib tent II only to find someone had returned a used one with holes etc. AND it doesn't fit my crib!!!!! We just got through building a walmart cheap special and putting the crib tent on. I'm so upset I love my crib! I love trevor more though and him with out nap was no fun!

In keeping with being totally fancy!

We went shopping for a backpack. Last year she chose THE cutest lil corduroy pink w/ hearts bag. It got ruined in about 3 months of use! Jansport got smart this year and their corduroy bag had a sueded bottom. For some reason my daughter and 60 yr old women both seem to think animal print is "stylin" I tried to get her to choose one with polka dots or hearts but this my friends is what we walked out with.......

My daughter lives and breathes Fancy Nancy! 

She is all about looking fancy and has been known to pout or cry when she thinks she's not fancy enough. They just released a doll and dress up at Target. I bought her these red ballet slippers like nancy's assuming the ribbons were attached. They velcro on and don't stay up very well since her leg is too skinny. Imagine her disappointment! Luckily I sew and am going to sew some elastic in the top and sew them permanently to the shoe. She is drooling over the dress up dress for this outfit as well.

Trevor's highchair has changed into a Peg Pergraco much like my step dad's MckDavidson bike.
He wouldn't quit getting the straps off and climbing out so Ry had to rig it up. That's right those are zip ties!

Scrub A Dub Dub

You know you're a mommy when.... pops into my mind each time I manage bath time alone! I tend to think Trev would be pretty hurt I'm in the bath with out him. I look up and see this....
I often think hmmm bath colors... fun! Then reason sets in and no way in hell would I bathe in a tub full of colored dye tablets that had dissolved. A few moments later an epiphany if you will... WHY on earth do I let my two children play and slash in tub full of it?!! The youngest tends to think the bath is one giant teacup made for him to drink. That can't be safe can it? The label claims it's non toxic but keep away from tile grout, wood, vinyl, and other non laundurable surfaces. This causes me to questions it's non toxic claim. If it will ruin my hardwood floors it can't be good for my children to ingest now can it?! Thank you crayola for your colorful fun but I think my children will pass!

Need A Vacation from Our Vacation

Man O Man is Disneyland exhausting! I really think we could have 2 weeks with not a care in the world and still not get to see it all AND be just as tired! Not to mention feel so sick from not eating the healthy chef ryan meals we're used to.

We went with Ry's sister and her hubby. The first day we were there she and I are walking behind the guys and her hubby see's this guy holding up fingers counting down 3-2-1 NOW! They go congratualations you're a winner and hand myself, her, and trev dream fast passes! We asked for two more for the guys and gave trev's to r since he doesn't need one. They are little lanyard plastic tabbed insant fast passes to 12 different rides in the parks good for that day. No waiting for your fast pass time to come and return. Just walk up to said ride and get in the fast pass line. We had ridden them all from 9am when we got them to around 5pm with lunches and naps inbetween. No way we could have gotten all that in on a Saturday in March with out them. They seriously made our trip.

Trevor was not enjoying the "characters" at all until Sunday's character breakfast when dale showed him to shake salt all over the table! What a mess! Him not screaming everytime they touched him was worth it though. Sunday was cold and gloomy so the park was abandoned. Monday was packed and spent doing kiddie rides and face painting etc.

Tonight T accomplished our worst fear.... he scaled a wall!

THIS is where I put him to play so he's safe. If not he's running around opening doors, getting into things, and thinks it's funny to hide from me. He was also crawling over or under a coffee table to get on the fireplace and play.

He likes to do this.....

Obviously the chair was removed, but it's only a matter of time before he makes it over the actual play yard wall which is much shorter and has slats that could help.

Easter Bunny Skeptic

My 5 year old is skeptical! She asked before we saw him if he was real I said of course. She said well I think it's just a dress up cause I saw that man in his mouth last year LOL I had to tell her that since the bunny can't be all over they have pretend ones to do pictures with

On Fridays I let R dress herself with out my input........she puts on a cream dress with hearts and the dark ones are brown and there are a dark pink hearts on ot as well. She asked me what tights I said maybe a dark pink to match those hearts... her response was "those are fuschia pink" I'm not sure why she thinks that after all these years of dressing myself I know nothing about matching?!!!!!!! She ended up in that dress with black footless tights, leprechaun socks, brown nike maryjanes, a princess crown, and purple sunglasses it was quite the sight!

Ok so the kids and I have been coldish for like a week... We took R to ER sat night because her fever was 102.7 and was crying that her neck hurt when I touched it. They gave motrin and sent us home saying she had a cold. We went to the zoo with our pass on sunday and just hung out. I drank after her and everything since we shared a huge applejuice. I took her to the pedi yesterday and they decide to do a rapid strep... she's positive! I go in that afternoon after nap and so am I!! Darn you Kindergarten germ sharers!!!!! Ry and T are perfectly fine both tested negative. The younger babies don't tend to catch strep as often apparently, and ry avoids drinking after people like the plague.

Is it ok to cry?

over diapers?!!!! I love love LOVE the prefolds I have and a mom on diaper swappers listed 8 in each of the three sizes. 2 moms beat me by mere hours :(

Totally 'ain't no hollaback girl'

As we're driving home from school she asks me if I would teach her how to type on the computer. She can spell and use one to play games so I said when she could spell more I would. Her reply "I can spell" followed by a list of words that she could spell followed by the phonetic pronunciations. it went something like this ....
I can spell easter, ee-st-r
I can spell bunny, buh-uh-nee
I can spell dog, duh-aw-guh
I can spell ain't no hollaback girl, a-n-tuh nu-o hu-l-r buh-ah-k guh-r-l
I can spell stop, st-aw-puh
I can spell go, guh-o

It took everything I had to not bust out laughing at the seriousness with which she was sounding out these words, and to just drop that song lyric in there like it's an everyday 3 letter kindergarten word about did my mom seriousness in.
For those of you who do not find this to be amusing and instead wonder what kind of mother I must be for her to know such filth.... when my sister lizzie in texas calls it is her ring tone, and my daughter can memorize an entire song in about 5 listens.
